Baby and Mommy (and Daddy) came home on Mon 3/23.

Baby's Room is Almost Done

Baby's Room is close to being done. We still have to work on the door. It doesn't quite close right yet. But we have all of the furniture in and assembled, the closet is done, the curtains are hung, the light are up. Everything is coming together.

Baby's Room in Progress

We have painted the room and the trim, put up a ceiling fan, assembled the crib, put in the dresser and the toy chest. Still have a lot of decorating to do but we'll get there slowly.

Travel is over!

I have finished my last business trip until probably at least July. It couldn't have come at a better time. Amy has been pretty sick for the last week and she pulled a muscle in her back yesterday. So she currently needs alot of help.

The baby is doing well though and we only have 40 days left. Time is flying by.

3D Baby Photos

We had the Baby 4D Ultrasound yesterday. I tried to upload the photos last night but it was giving me problems. But here they are. Most are pretty clear and you can make out her features very clearly. We think she has Amy's lips and my eyes. The technician said the nose always looks a little exaggerated.

We have a video of the entire ultrasound but it is over 1 GB and I can't post it here yet. I am trying to decrease its size so I can hopefully post it.

72 days and Counting !

I can't believe that I've been pregnant for almost 30 weeks.

We had another doctors appointment today. I am measuring 31 weeks. Everything is great and the baby is very healthy. From here on out we see the OB every two weeks.

The baby seems to be getting even more active. In fact, the doctor gave us a baby kick log today. When the baby does 10 kicks I should write down how long it took. The log allows for up to 2 hours. I got to 3 minutes.

We have our 3D ultrasound on Monday. We are getting it done at a place called "before the stork 4D." We'll post pictures and videos on Monday or Tuesday.

Baby is getting a workout!

The baby is kicking me alot lately. All the time! While I'm at school, in the car, while I sleep. The baby doesn't seem to care at all. You can see my belly jiggle all the time. There have been some solid kick to my ribs lately.

I tell her, "that doesn't feel good. Mommy doesn't like that." Then, BAM!, she kicks me again.

Rhode Island Baby Shower

Thank you everyone for the wonderful baby shower that you threw for us. We were happy to spend time with everyone that was able to come. Thank you to the Aunts for organizing everything.


We loved everything we got. We will put the gifts to good use. We will keep you posted on what we get with the gift cards.
